Development Contract Award

Subtera has won a contract to develop a handheld sub-terahertz camera for non-destructive testing and detection of corrosion using millimetre wave technology from the European Space Agency (ESA). The development work was carried out at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory at Harwell Oxfordshire in conjunction with The Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). Subtera subcontracted Water Window, led by Dr Chris Mann the lead British Scientist on the ESA Startiger project.
